With experience in interior building and a solid architectural background.

Who are we?

Hypsos is a leading company in the field of permanent exhibitions, interior design, international museums, brand experiences, and global events. We deliver turnkey solutions in close cooperation with international design firms that create narrative spaces. Depending on the requirements, these projects are carried out from design to realisation.

Hypsos is the central point of contact for all disciplines; we realise complete ‘visitor journeys’, combining advanced technologies with craftsmanship in the design and realisation.

What will you be doing?

As a draftsman – Engineer within Hypsos you will work on a wide range of projects that can vary from medium-sized interior projects to the development of complex and large international experiences. You will be involved in the project from the start and can use your experience and inventiveness to bring world-class projects to a feasible conclusion. In all these projects, high quality and complexity are key. Lead times are short and the designs provided are often not detailed, sketchy and very diverse.

In view of the often complicated design, spatial insight is indispensable. Materialisation is very diverse, think of high-end interior materials, metal parts, glass and plastics. Integration technology is also an important aspect, particularly AV hardware and lighting.

You are responsible for the elaboration and detailing of the working and/or production drawings and the work preparation, the quality control and coordination. Possessing the right work and thinking mentality of a furniture maker or interior designer is essential. We also expect a solid architectural background. You need this because the execution is often carried out under Hypsos’ responsibility. We have to deliver drawings to architects or contractors or check their drawings.

For a limited number of projects that are carried out in our own workshop, you will determine the material requirements and specify the machining operations such as CNC work.

This position therefore requires an extremely flexible attitude, in which we expect you to determine independently or as part of a team which minimum requirements the drawings must meet.

Who you are:

  • You have a secondary vocational education (MBO) or higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level (for example Industrial Product Design (HBO) or Interior Design Engineer (MBO level 4)
  • You have affinity and at least 5 years’ experience in similar projects
  • You have experience within the Interior Design industry and have a solid architectural background
  • You have experience with AutoCAD 2d.
  • You also have experience with 3d CAD software
  • You can make and monitor your own work planning

In addition, you also possess the following characteristics

  • Thinking in solutions
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Being able to switch quickly
  • Command of the English language

Salary depending on education and experience.
