Project Coordinator

As a project coordinator you are responsible for supporting the project team in preparing and executing projects and in handling requests for quotations.  You work within a project team and get the job done together. You are the one who arranges things well, follows up and takes actions in consultation with your teammates and the various disciplines.  You are a real rule nephew who also takes responsibility!

What are you going to do?

  • You support the project team and take care of it (i. m. the project manager) that the (part of) project is delivered within cost, time and quality;
  • You follow the process internally and externally, plan ahead and take action to meet deadlines;
  • You read tenders and make quotation texts for a successful offer,
  • You read contracts and know how to translate them into opportunities and risks;
  • You are able to solve problems creatively and effectively in close collaboration with your customer, your team, internal and external stakeholders;
  • You ensure an accurate project administration;
  • You see any commercial opportunities with your relations and translate these into opportunities for Hypsos.

Who are you?

  • You are creative and commercial and know by thinking along with the customer to offer what he asks and preferably, to exceed this wish of the customer;
  • You are a real team player who has collaboration at the top, together we can achieve more should be your motto!
  • You like to arrange and organize;
  • You are driven;
  • You are administratively strong and meticulous;
  • You are design-sensitive and think along with the customer; Not a 100% must, but desired;
  • You like to work together in a team;
  • You communicate easily at all levels and feel good in a broad role;
  • You have project management skills or you are eager to learn them.

What else do you bring?

  • You preferably have an education at HBO level (CE or MER or similar);
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and your English is also excellent in both word and writing;
  • Technical knowledge; materials (wood, metal, graphic), production techniques is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of tendering processes is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of a language other than Dutch and English is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of Prince 2 or other project management methods eg RIBA is an advantage.

We offer you a salary that depends on education and experience, but that is certainly attractive. Of course you also have vacation days, because we find work-life balance important. That’s 24 days and 6 ATV days for full employment. Flexible working, working from home, it’s all possible. The task has to be done and within that you decide how!
