Douwe Egberts Shopper Innovation Center
This summer in the office of coffee producer Douwe Egberts in Utrecht the Netherlands the special Douwe Egberts Shopper Innovation center was built with Heritage & Welcome area. The Shopper Innovation Center provides an overview of state of the art shop environments and presentations, the Heritage Area gives the unique opportunity and experience of a focused coffee and tea company with a specific history. Where off course you can also experience the manufacturing process of burning coffee beans.
In this Shopper innovation center European key-retailers will be able to examine customersbehaviour in a private retail environment, which will be imitated and optimized. The shopper innovation center will also be used for brainstorm sessions.
Claessens Erdmann Architects & Designers has developed the concept of the Douwe Egberts Shopper Innovation Center. Hypsos supervised and executed the interior works. In addition, Hypsos provided the project management and prepared and executed all of the architectural installation services, including even a new floor including the foundation. Hypsos Digital advised all the multimedia, designed and directed the AV hardware for all presentations and projections on walls, screens, laptops and ipads.
