The Jacobs Douwe Egberts Experience Center in Utrecht for the professional market has been given a complete make-over. To the designs of Oil for live communication, hypsos has executed the new corporate interior for the Jacobs Douwe Egberts Experience Center, including the Portfolio space and Barista space.
Jacobs Douwe Egberts is a Dutch privately owned company that owns numerous beverage brands. In this Experience Center, all types of coffee machines that they offer for the professional market are on display in the Portfolio space. In addition to viewing these machines, and of course, tasting the coffee and tea, visitors are shown how machines work in a warm homely atmosphere, matching the brand.
Besides, there’s the new generation Barista area. Baristas are trained internally at Jacobs Douwe Egberts in the designated and renovated Barista space. Equipped with all necessary barista tools, this space allows new baristas to train in very realistic workspaces. It’s like working in a restaurant or hotel.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the stories of their choice and interest using the White table.
