Terra Futura at World Horticultural Expo Floriade

Working alongside landscape architects, Hypsos undertook the concept development, design and the high-level pavilion programme requirements for Terra Futura at the World Horticultural Expo Floriade in the Haarlemmermeer in the Netherlands.

The Terra Futura pavilion was a popular showcase for presenting an organic agricultural spirit together with the respect for natural ecosystems and sustainable philosophies. The exterior of the pavilion featured an enlarged soil profile and the interior a spectacular audio-visual presentation, which enabled visitors to experience the life of soil microorganisms up close.
