Team Manager – temporary exhibitions –

We are looking for an experienced Team Manager for the temporary exhibitions and events of our customers.

What are you going to do?

Together with your team, you deliver temporary exhibitions and events down to the last detail and ensure that our customers are happy and choose Hypsos again in the future. You actively develop relationships to ensure that more parties become customers. So that we can deliver even more beautiful work. To achieve this, you think ahead and plan the activities of yourself and your team and solve issues creatively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders. Your working area is the Netherlands, Europe and the Middle East.

A commercial attitude and customer service mentality combined with excellent leadership and project management skills is a prerequisite for you to successfully fulfill this role.

As a Team Manager you must be able to be in balance internally and externally and to think ahead and plan ahead. Your team is your most important support. You are able to solve problems creatively and effectively in close collaboration with your client, your team, internal and external stakeholders.

Who are you?

You are a born manager, focused on using your people correctly on their talents. You know how to motivate and stimulate your team. You have an overview, know how to intervene in time and you do so in an authentic way. You have a commercial attitude and a customer-oriented mentality. With you you you can laugh and cry, but above all work together with a lot of fun! You switch effortlessly from Dutch to English and vice versa. Mastery of an extra language can also be useful. Communicating is natural for you and you like to pull the cart and develop your team. Passion for your team and wanting to improve and develop is in your genes and you would like to help build our beautiful Hypsos organization.

What do you bring?

  • You have an HBO/WO work and thinking level;
  • You have at least 5 years of managerial experience in a project environment;
  • Knowledge and experience with temporary events is an advantage;
  • You control the entire project workflow and supply chain; from design development via off-site production phases to a smooth installation and implementation on site and manages this with your team;
  • You know how to motivate, stimulate, appreciate and focus on employees’ talents;
  • You are able to apply value engineering;
  • You master English (common working language) and Dutch in both speech and writing with excellent writing skills;
  • Knowledge of another language is an advantage as well as knowledge of RIBA 3-7;
  • You are willing to travel for work;
  • You are preferably immediately available;
  • You are communicatively very skilled in support of the sales team.

We offer you a salary that depends on education and experience, but that is certainly attractive and in line with the market. Of course you also have vacation days, because we find work-life balance important. That’s 24 days and 6 ATV days for full employment. You will have access to a laptop, a mobile phone and a car.
