In March 2016, the Van Gogh Pop-Up Museum is on display at the Oakridge Centre Mall in Vancouver, Canada. It presents and sells digital paintings of the world-famous Dutch painter Van Gogh.
The paintings on display are high resolution 3D reproductions, produced with a process called reliefography developed by Fujifilm Belgium and the Van Gogh Museum. Each painting is one of a limited and numbered series. Vincent van Gogh’s great-grandnephew, Willem van Gogh, attended the launch party at the mall.
Retail is Detail designed the black rectangular exhibition area and Hypsos was responsible for project management and build of the installation at multiple locations in Canada.
