Dorel wanted to present a new image for their 2019 edition of Kind + Jugend trade show in Cologne. With the innovative stand design Dorel wanted to show visitors of this for trade show for premium baby and toddler products, that Dorel has embarked on a new, refreshing path to being modern, innovative and cool company.
The powerfully branded products from Dorel Juvenile are the global brands Maxi-Cosi, Quinny and Tiny Love, supplemented with regional brands such as Safety 1st and Bébé Confort. Due to the global nature of the Kind + Jugend, this trade fair is ideal voor Dorel to introduce new products per brand and to be able to catch up with their dealers.
Therefore, Hypsos created a stand design for their island stand where five brands get maximum exposure to present themselves in their own “retail space”. It has been chosen to place Maxi-Cosi – as the biggest brand by far – and Quinny with the most potential, at the center of the stand.
The Coral is a new innovation (a Maxi-Cosi that is much lighter due to the loose insert) that had to be prominently presented. At the entrance of the stand, large Coral letters flanked two up and down products at the entrance of the stand.
In addition, a podium has been placed on the stand where every 20 minutes a presentation took place. Ten meeting rooms and a hospitality area have been set up in the hart of the stand. On Thursday evening at the stand a party was organized for which Dorel staff and a selection of customers were invited.
Hypsos took care of the entire stand from design to stand construction. Catering was provided by Hutten and Frank Ouwens (2BeFrank) contributed to the concept.
