A playful tournament activation where visitors tested their speed, focus and powers of observation.
The experience
Visitors stepped into the action through a tennis-inspired Game Wall and an virtual-reality challenge. Fast reactions, close observation and the chance to win prizes turned ABN AMRO’s tournament presence into an energetic experience.

Our job
Hypsos produced the Game Wall and the temporary virtual-reality room for ABN AMRO. Both activations were realised for the World Tennis Tournament and subsequently installed at other locations across the Netherlands.
Testing speed and focus at the World Tennis Tournament with ABN
At the 2018 ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, ABN AMRO connected top-level sport with knowledge, games and entertainment. The temporary activation invited visitors to do more than watch: they could experience the pressure, speed and concentration behind the tournament for themselves.
The Game Wall challenged participants to discover how demanding the role of a ball kid really is. A second experience supported the bank’s &Meer campaign through virtual reality. During a simulated roller-coaster ride, visitors counted how often the campaign name appeared for a chance to win prizes.
The activation used ABN AMRO’s recognisable palette of teal, green, yellow and white to create a bright, energetic event environment. Clean architectural lines and open sightlines kept the space accessible, while oversized campaign graphics made the experience easy to understand from a distance. Transparent cylinders filled with tennis balls became tactile display objects.
